What is the difference between a target retriever and a lateral moving target system?
A target retriever system moves the target back and forth along a fixed lane, typically toward and away from the shooter. A moving target system, like a running man, moves laterally or dynamically across the range to simulate real-world movement and improve tracking and engagement skills.
What are the benefits of wireless target retriever systems?
Wireless systems reduce installation complexity by eliminating extensive wiring. They offer flexible setup options, faster deployment, and easier maintenance while still delivering reliable performance.
When should I choose a 360° turning target system?
A 360° turning system is ideal when you want maximum flexibility in target presentation. It allows for full rotation, enabling advanced training drills that require targets to appear, disappear, or change orientation quickly.
What is the difference between the PEAK-360, PEAK-360i, PEAK, and PEAK-i?
All systems offer full 360° target rotation. 360 denotes an automatic electronic turning system while the PEAK and PEAK-i are manual turning systems that offer multiple methods for holding targets. The PEAK & PEAK-360 is a standard configuration, while the PEAK-i & PEAK-360i is an inverted version designed for alternate mounting or range layouts where overhead or different structural configurations are required.
What is the difference between the Ridge-360 and Ridge?
360 denotes an automatic electronic turning system while the Ridge doesn’t have turning capabilities. Both systems offer multiple methods for holding targets. The Ridge-360 is a standard configuration, while the Ridge is a more cost effective solution when turning is not needed. The Ridge can always be upgraded to a Ridge-360 later on when the need for 360 turning arises.
What is the difference between the Ridge-r, Ridge-360r and Ascent-r?
All three of these systems are lateral moving running men. The Ascent-r is our cable-driven, more budget-friendly option. The Ridge-r and Ridge-360r are our wireless runners and offer a much longer running distance than the Ascent-r. 360 denotes an automatic electronic turning system while the Ridge-r and Ascent-r don’t have turning capabilities. The Ascent-r is our standard configuration. The Ridge-r can always be upgraded to a Ridge-360r later on when the need for 360 turning arises.
How do I decide which target system is right for my range?
